Description

The Mitutoyo 115-216 is a metric tube micrometer designed for measuring the wall thickness of tubes, rings, and other curved parts. The spherical shape of both the anvil and spindle allows it to make precise measurements on rounded surfaces.

Key features
  • Ratchet-stop mechanism: A ratchet-stop provides constant measuring force on the workpiece, which prevents over-tightening and ensures high repeatability and accuracy between different users.
  • High resolution: It has a graduation of 0.01 mm, which allows for precise measurements.
  • Spindle lock: A spindle lock is included to hold the measurement securely once contact is made, preventing the spindle from turning while you read the scale.
  • Satin-chrome finish: The thimble and sleeve are finished with a satin chrome to reduce glare and make the engraved scale markings easier to read.
  • Laser-etched markings: The scale on the thimble is laser-etched for easier reading.
