The Mitutoyo 500-171-30 is a 0 to 6" (0 to 150mm) AOS Absolute Digimatic Caliper made of hardened stainless steel with SPC data output capability. Its Advanced Onsite Sensor (AOS) technology offers higher dependability by increasing resistance to environmental factors found in workshops, like dirt, oil, and water.

Key features

  • Absolute (ABS) scale: Keeps track of the origin point once set, so it's not necessary to set the origin again after powering on the tool. This eliminates over-speed errors that can happen with traditional electronic calipers.
  • SPC data output: Allows measurement data to be transmitted to a computer for analysis and Statistical Process Control.
  • Four-way measurement: Capable of measuring outside diameter (OD), inside diameter (ID), depth, and steps.
  • Large, clear LCD readout: Provides easy-to-read measurements to reduce eye fatigue.
  • Smooth slider movement: The high-quality finish on the guide surface ensures comfortable and stable operation.
  • Long battery life: Under normal use, the SR44 battery provides approximately 3.5 years of life.
