The Chauvin Arnoux CA6543 is a high-performance 1kV insulation tester with advanced analytical functions, designed for demanding industrial environments. In addition to measuring insulation resistance, it calculates diagnostic ratios (DAR and PI), plots resistance curves over time, and stores measurement data for analysis.

• Insulation testing: Can test insulation resistance up to 4 TΩ (tera-ohms) with selectable DC test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1,000V.
• Qualitative analysis: Automatically calculates the Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), providing insight into the quality and aging of electrical insulation.
• R(t) curve plotting: Can be programmed to perform tests over a specific period and plot the evolution of resistance over time.
• Data logging: An internal 128KB memory can store up to 1,500 test results, which can be organized by object and test for systematic record-keeping.
