TES-33A Battery Capacity Tester

Description

The TES-33A is a portable battery capacity tester manufactured by TES Electrical Electronic Corp.. It is designed to measure the internal resistance, open-circuit voltage, and terminal temperature of various secondary batteries, including lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, lithium-ion, and nickel-metal hydride.

Measurement capabilities: The TES-33A can test a wide range of battery capacities, typically up to 1200 Ah. It can test batteries without shutting them down, making it suitable for in-service battery checks.

Precision and accuracy: The device uses a four-terminal AC measurement method for internal resistance to cancel out the effects of lead and contact resistance, providing accurate results. It offers high resolution for both resistance and voltage measurements.

Data logging: It can store a large number of data sets—up to 999 manually and up to 6000 for continuous downloads via a PC.

Comparator function: The comparator function allows users to set high and low limits for resistance and voltage to receive a Pass, Warning, or Fail indication for the battery's condition.

PC interface: The tester is available with either an RS-232 or USB interface for connecting to a computer, which allows for data analysis and report generation.
