TES-1151 Digital Sound Level Meter

Description

The TES-1151 is a digital sound level meter that measures and logs environmental and industrial noise levels. It is manufactured by the Taiwanese company TES Electrical Electronic Corp and is compliant with the IEC 61672-1:2013 standard for a Class 2 instrument.

High-precision measurements: The meter offers a 0.1 dB resolution and a dynamic measurement range of 30 to 130 dB. Its frequency range is 31.5 Hz to 8 KHz, with an accuracy of ±1.0 dB at 94 dB and 1 KHz.

Versatile measurements: The TES-1151 includes A, C, and Z frequency weighting, which allow it to analyze how different sound frequencies are perceived by the human ear. It also features Fast, Slow, and Impulse time weighting modes to capture different types of sound variations.

Data logging and connectivity: The device automatically records data to a microSD card, which is included. It can be connected to a computer for data transfer using its micro-USB port.

Analog output: It features both AC and DC output jacks for connecting to external devices like an oscilloscope or a recorder.

Peak and maximum hold: The meter is equipped with a peak hold and a maximum hold function, which "freeze" the highest sound level detected for later review.

Easy-to-use design: The TES-1151 is a portable, compact, and lightweight device, weighing approximately 180 grams. It has a clear 4-digit LCD screen and can be mounted on a tripod for stable measurements.
