The TES-135A is a portable colorimeter, or color difference meter, manufactured by TES Electrical Electronic Corp. It is used for precise color analysis by measuring the difference between two color samples.
Key Features
Color difference measurement: The primary function is to measure the color difference between a sample and a stored target color.
White calibration: For accurate measurements, the user must perform a white calibration by pressing the "CAL" button with the meter's sensor firmly against the included standard white plate.
Target color memory: The colorimeter can store up to 8 target colors. These can be set from a measurement or entered manually via the keypad.
Statistical analysis: For a series of measurements, the device can provide statistical functions, including the maximum, minimum, and average values.
Tolerance function: The user can set acceptable color difference limits. The device then performs a PASS/WARN/FAIL test to quickly determine if a sample is within tolerance.
