The self-centering design with three anvils spaced 120° apart ensures stable and reliable measurements of bores and holes. The "R" in the model name signifies a ratchet-stop mechanism, which provides a constant measuring force to ensure consistent readings. The contact points are TiN-coated for durability and for measuring near the bottom of blind holes. |
