The Mitutoyo 510-122 Series 510 mechanical indicating micrometer is a precision tool used for high-accuracy measurements of low-volume manufactured parts. Its primary features include a retractable anvil, a dial indicator for fine measurements, and an IP54-rated housing for protection against dust and water.

Key features
  • Retractable anvil: Allows for easy insertion of workpieces and is particularly useful for measuring the pitch diameter of precision screws with a three-wire method. The anvil retracts with a button on the side of the frame.
  • Dial indicator: Provides quick and accurate deviation readings for "Go/±NG" tolerance inspection.
  • Ratchet stop mechanism: Applies uniform pressure to the workpiece for repeatable and consistent measurements.
