The Mitutoyo 368-995 Holtest Type II is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer set used for the precise measurement of inside diameters, including those in blind bores. The set includes two separate micrometer gauges to cover its overall measuring range.

Key features

  • Three-point contact: Utilizes three alloyed-steel anvils spaced at 120° for accurate, self-centering, and repeatable internal bore measurements.
  • Constant-force mechanism: A ratchet stop ensures consistent measuring force, reducing the potential for operator error and ensuring repeatable results.
  • Blind hole measurement: The geometry of the contact points is specifically designed to allow for measurements to be taken close to the bottom of blind holes.
  • Durability: The measuring anvils are made of hardened tool steel, providing excellent durability.
  • Laser-etched scale: The thimble and sleeve are laser-etched to improve readability.
