The Mitutoyo 368-917 Holtest Micrometer Set is a 3-point, self-centering micrometer for measuring the internal diameters of bores and blind holes. The set provides a combined measurement range of 0.5 to 0.8 inches through two included measuring units.

Key features
  • Three-point measuring method: Features three titanium nitride (TiN)-coated anvils spaced 120° apart. This self-centering design ensures accurate and stable measurements by contacting the internal surfaces of the bore at three points.
  • Blind hole measurement: The geometry of the contact points allows the instrument to measure accurately to the very bottom of a blind bore.
  • Imperial measurements: This model uses imperial measurement units, with graduations of 0.0002 inches.
  • Constant measuring force: A built-in ratchet stop mechanism provides a constant measuring force, which is critical for consistent, repeatable readings.
  • Deep hole measurement: The set comes with an extension rod for taking measurements in deep holes.
