The Mitutoyo 368-873 Holtest Inside Micrometer, Type II is an analog three-point bore micrometer designed for accurately measuring the internal diameters of bores between 3.5 and 4 inches. Its Type II designation means it features economical, hardened tool-steel anvils, which allows measurement closer to the bottom of blind bores.

  • Three-point contact: Three anvils are evenly spaced at 120° for proper alignment with the bore axis, ensuring consistently accurate and repeatable measurements.
  • Self-centering: The micrometer's three-point design automatically centers itself in the bore, which helps maintain measurement stability.
