Description

The Mitutoyo 368-871 Holtest Inside Micrometer, Type II, is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer for precisely measuring the inside diameters of bores. The Type II model features hardened tool-steel anvils instead of the titanium-coated carbide anvils found on standard Holtests, making it a more economical option with the same level of accuracy.

  • Automatic centering: The three-point contact design provides automatic self-centering to ensure stable and repeatable measurements.
  • Blind bore measurement: The design allows for measurements to be taken close to the bottom of blind holes.
  • Optional extension rod: An extension rod is available separately for measuring deep holes.
  • Optional setting rings: Setting rings can be purchased separately for accurate zero-point adjustment.
  • Case: The micrometer comes with a fitted plastic case for storage and protection.
