The Mitutoyo 368-869 Holtest Inside Micrometer, type II, 1.6 to 2" is a mechanical, three-point internal micrometer designed for accurately measuring the inside diameter of bores. The "type II" designation indicates that it uses hardened alloy steel contact points, which makes it a more economical option compared to the Type I models that feature titanium-coated carbide contact points.

Key features

  • Allows for blind-hole measurement: The design permits measurements to be taken closer to the bottom of blind bores.
  • Economical: Features alloy steel contact points, making it more affordable than comparable models with TiN-coated anvils.
  • Expandable depth: Can measure deep holes with the addition of an optional extension rod.
  • Optional setting rings: Setting rings for zero point adjustment can be purchased separately.
