The Mitutoyo 201-108 Dial Snap Gauge is a metric measuring instrument used for quick go/no-go judgments of the outside diameters of cylinders and shafts, particularly in machining processes. It has a measuring range of 175–200 mm and features wide, flat carbide anvils with chamfered edges for easy insertion.

  • Quick Go/No-Go judgments: The gauge is purpose-built to allow operators to rapidly determine if a workpiece's diameter falls within acceptable tolerances during manufacturing processes.
  • Metric measuring range: It is calibrated for a specific range of 175–200 mm.
  • Adjustment nut: A movable anvil allows the operator to precisely set the required measuring range using an adjustment nut, which can then be clamped securely in position.
  • Optional dial indicator: The body is designed to accept a separate dial or digital indicator with an 8mm stem. This allows users to select an indicator that offers the required reading resolution (e.g., 0.01mm or 0.001mm).
