The Mitutoyo 160-125 is a vernier caliper that features nib-style jaws and a fine adjustment carriage, with a measuring range of 0 to 12 inches (0 to 300 mm). It is an analog, precision instrument built from hardened stainless steel for durability.

Key features
  • Nib-style jaws: The caliper has rounded measuring faces on its jaws, which are designed for accurate inside diameter (ID) measurements.
  • Dual-reading scales: The main scale and vernier scale are satin-chrome finished for high readability. Separate scales allow you to read outside diameter (OD) measurements directly from the lower scale and ID measurements directly from the upper scale.
  • Fine adjustment: The fine adjustment carriage allows for precise, controlled movement of the slider, which is critical for making accurate measurements.
  • Corrosion-resistant construction: Made from hardened stainless steel with a satin chrome finish, the caliper is resistant to rust and corrosion.
  • Federal accuracy specifications: The caliper meets Federal Accuracy Specifications GGG-C-111B.
