The Mitutoyo 112-216 Series 112 Point Micrometer is a metric micrometer with a specific range, high accuracy, and pointed measuring surfaces for use in hard-to-reach areas.

Key features
  • Purpose: A point micrometer is designed to measure features that are difficult to access with a standard micrometer, such as the web thickness of drills, small grooves, and keyways.
  • Measuring surfaces: The spindle and anvil both have carbide tips that are pointed at a 30-degree angle. The measuring points have a radius of approximately 0.3mm.
  • Measurement scale: It features a vernier scale on the sleeve and thimble.
    Ratchet stop: It is equipped with a ratchet stop to ensure a constant and consistent measuring force is applied.
  • Locking mechanism: The micrometer includes a spindle lock to secure the measurement.
