The Megger TTRU1-BASIC is a handheld turns ratiometer used for testing power, distribution, and instrument transformers. It uses a single-phase step-down method to measure the turns ratio and polarity and can apply up to 37.5 V AC to the transformer under test.

  • Battery operated: It is powered by rechargeable NiMH AA batteries that can last for up to 1,000 tests on a single charge.
  • USB charging: The batteries can be recharged by connecting the device to a wall charger or PC using a USB-C cable.
