Description

The Megger DLRO-10HDX is a 10 Amp digital low-resistance ohmmeter designed for accurate low-resistance measurements in harsh environments. The "Spike Leads" are a type of test lead, and the unit comes with a heavy-duty, rugged case.

Key features
  • Instrument performance: Measurement range: 0.1 µΩ to 250 Ω.
  • Test current: The unit can deliver 10 A for measurements up to 250 mΩ and 1 A for measurements up to 2.5 Ω.
  • Test duration: Up to 60 seconds per test.
  • Modes: Includes five test modes: bidirectional, unidirectional, automatic, continuous, and inductive.
  • Memory: The DLRO-10HDX has onboard memory for storing up to 200 test records, which can be downloaded using Megger PowerDB software.
  • Safety: The device is rated CAT III 300 V and has advanced safety features, including protection up to 600 V and a live voltage warning.
  • Physical characteristics:-
  • Rugged case: The durable case is rated IP65 when closed and IP54 when in use, protecting it from dust and water ingress.
  • Power: It can operate on a rechargeable 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery or mains power, making it suitable for continuous testing environments.
  • Controls: The unit uses simple rotary switches that can be operated while wearing gloves.
  • Display: A large, clear, backlit LCD display is easy to read in various conditions.
  • Accessories: The case features a lid-mounted pouch for test leads and a shoulder strap for easy transportation.
  • Test leads: The "Spike Leads" likely refer to Duplex Handspikes (such as the DH4-C), which are used for accurate four-wire measurements by applying both current and voltage connections via a single probe. Spike leads are a common type of probe for testing connections in rail, aircraft, and other industrial settings.
