Description

The Megger DLRO-10HDX is a heavy-duty, digital low-resistance ohmmeter designed for accurate resistance measurement in challenging environments. The "No Lead Set" version means the instrument is sold without the test leads, which must be purchased separately.

Key features
  • Measurement range and accuracy: The device can measure resistance from 0.1 µΩ up to 250 Ω with an accuracy of ±0.2%.
  • High test current: It can deliver a test current of up to 10 A into a 250 mΩ load for up to 60 seconds, which is useful for testing thick conductors and bonded joints.
  • Rugged design: The DLRO-10HDX has an IP65 rating when the lid is closed, protecting it from dust and water jets. The IP rating is IP54 during operation (on battery power), making it suitable for all-weather use.
  • Power flexibility: It can be powered by either the internal rechargeable lead-acid battery or a mains power supply, making it ideal for both portable fieldwork and continuous bench testing.
  • Five test modes: A simple rotary switch allows you to select from five different test modes:
  • Bidirectional (Normal) Mode: Reverses the current and averages the result to cancel out standing EMFs (thermal voltages).
  • Mode: Measures resistance in a single direction.
  • Automatic Mode: Starts a test as soon as the probes are connected and automatically reverses the current.
  • Continuous Mode: Performs measurements every three seconds until the circuit is broken.
  • Inductive Mode: Designed for testing inductive loads like motors and generators, and stabilizes the reading before displaying the final result.
  • Data storage: The instrument can store up to 200 test records, which can be recalled on the backlit LCD display or downloaded to a PC using PowerDB software.
  • Enhanced safety: Features include protection up to 600 V and a warning light for live voltage.
