The Mastech MS6512A is a single-channel contact thermometer used for measuring temperatures using either a K-type or J-type thermocouple. Unlike its B and C series counterparts, the MS6512A is not equipped with data logging capabilities. It is well-suited for industrial, HVAC/R, and laboratory applications that require a simple, direct measurement of temperature.

  • Auto power-off: Automatically turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life, though this can be manually canceled.
  • Power source: Runs on three 1.5V AAA (LR06) batteries and can also be powered by a USB micro interface.
