The Mastech MS2601 "Special Application" digital clamp meter is a versatile and compact tool distinguished by its open-jaw, or "fork," design. This feature allows for quick and safe current measurements in tight or crowded spaces where traditional closed-jaw clamp meters are impractical.

Key Features
  • Fork design: The 12mm (0.5") jaw opening allows technicians to slide the meter over a single conductor to measure AC current without breaking the circuit.
  • Safety features: It includes a Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detector for live wire checks and is safety-rated for CAT III 600V environments.
  • Display: The meter features a 6000-count, backlit digital display for clear readings in various lighting conditions. It also has a built-in work light.
  • Convenience functions: Additional features include data hold, auto and manual ranging, continuity and diode checks, and auto-power-off to save battery life.
