The Kyoritsu KEW 2413F is a high-precision digital leakage clamp meter designed to measure AC currents from a very low 0.1mA up to 1000A. Its key features are tailored for accurate leakage current measurement, even in environments with harmonic distortion.

  • Measurement ranges: Measures AC current across several ranges: 200mA, 2A, 20A, 200A, and 1000A.
  • Leakage current resolution: Offers a minimum resolution of 0.1mA for sensitive leakage current detection.
  • Large jaw size: The clamp has a wide jaw opening of up to 68mm, allowing it to easily clamp around all three or four wires (3 phases) at once.
  • Frequency filter: A built-in frequency filter switch can be set to either "50/60Hz" or "WIDE." The 50/60Hz setting filters out high-frequency components to measure only the fundamental frequency, while the WIDE setting covers a broader frequency spectrum.
  • Peak hold: Features a peak hold function with selectable response times of 10ms or 100ms, which is useful for capturing transient currents or inrush currents.
  • Analog output terminal: Includes a two-way analog output terminal that provides either AC or DC voltage, allowing for connection to an oscilloscope for waveform monitoring or a chart recorder for continuous logging.
  • Accuracy: The accuracy varies depending on the frequency range and whether the filter is engaged. It offers improved accuracy on the 50/60Hz setting and higher measurement capability up to 1kHz in WIDE mode.
  • Shielded jaws: Its jaws are specially shielded to minimize the effect of external stray magnetic fields, ensuring more accurate and reliable low-current readings.
