Description

The HT Instruments JUPITER Multifunction Multimeter is a versatile electrical safety tester and True RMS multimeter designed for professional electricians. It combines the functions of standard electrical safety testers and high-end multimeters in one portable device. It measures voltage, current, resistance, frequency, harmonics, and more.

Key Features
  • Built-in safety testing functions: Can measure the tripping time and current of Type A and AC RCDs. It also performs non-trip earth resistance and measures loop/line impedance.
  • True RMS technology: Provides accurate measurements on both AC and AC+DC signals.
  • Low impedance (LoZ) input: Helps to eliminate false "ghost voltage" readings, which can occur from capacitive coupling between electrical lines.
  • Automatic measurements: Features autoranging with automatic AC/DC detection for quick and easy use.
  • Current measurement up to 3000A: Achieved using an optional external clamp or flexible transducer.
  • Harmonics analysis: Measures voltage and current harmonics up to the 25th harmonic, including Total Harmonic Distortion (THD%).
  • Inrush current measurement: The Dynamic Inrush Current (DIRC) function allows you to measure the startup current of motors and other loads.
  • Phase sequence detection: A one-lead method is available for detecting the phase sequence.
  • Display: Features a 6000-count, backlit LCD with bargraph, MIN/MAX/PEAK/HOLD functions, and a polarity indicator.
  • Safety rating: The Jupiter is rated for CAT IV 600V and CAT III 690V, as detailed on TEquipment.net.
  • Included accessories: Comes with a standard ISO9000 calibration certificate.
