HT Instruments IV500W Curve Tracer

Description

The HT Instruments I-V500w is a curve tracer for testing photovoltaic (PV) modules and strings, designed for field use and troubleshooting. It is capable of measuring the current-voltage (I-V) characteristic curve and the main electrical parameters of PV installations with a maximum voltage of 1500V or a maximum current of 15A.

• Broad testing capabilities: Measures the I-V and power curves for individual modules or entire strings of up to 1500V / 10A or 1000V / 15A.
• Quick "IVCK" test: Performs quick tests to measure the open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc).
• Module database: The instrument features an internal database of 30,000 PV modules. Test results are compared to the manufacturer's data to check for performance and efficiency, giving an immediate "OK" or "NOT OK" indication on the screen. The database can be updated by the user.
• Wireless connectivity: Built-in Wi-Fi allows for connection to a smartphone or tablet via the HTANALYSIS™ app. The app enables detailed analysis, management of the module database, and uploading data to the HTCLOUD™ for real-time PC access.
• Remote measurements: Supports wireless environmental measurements using the optional SOLAR02 remote unit for irradiance, temperature, and tilt angle.
• AutoStart test: Can automatically start a test when the leads are connected to the positive and negative poles of a module or string, which is particularly useful with the optional KITKELVIN accessory for fast string-by-string testing.
• Data storage: The internal memory can store up to 249 I-V curves and 999 Quick Checks.
