The HT Instruments HT7051 is a programmable digital insulation resistance tester capable of providing test voltages up to 5 kV DC, making it suitable for industrial applications on electrical machines, transformers, and cables. It features a wide measurement range up to 10 TΩ and advanced diagnostic functions. The meter is designed for field use with a durable, hard-carrying case.

  • High measurement range: Can measure insulation resistance up to 10 TΩ.
  • Leakage current and capacitance: Can measure both leakage current (up to 2.5 mA) and capacitance (up to 49.9 μF).
  • TRMS voltage measurement: Measures AC/DC True RMS voltage up to 600V.
  • GUARD terminal: A dedicated test lead connection to compensate for surface leakage currents, ensuring more accurate measurements.
  • Automatic discharge: The device automatically and safely discharges the device under test after completing a measurement.
