Description

The HT Instruments HT4005K is a standard AC current clamp transducer used to measure AC currents up to 200A in electrical systems. It is not a standalone meter but an accessory that provides an AC voltage output, which can then be connected to a multimeter, data logger, or other suitable measuring instrument.

Key Features
  • Measurement range: 0.1A to 200A AC.
  • Maximum cable diameter: 40mm (approximately 1.6 inches), allowing it to clamp around larger conductors.
  • Accuracy: ±(0.5% rdg + 20mA) for a sinusoidal waveform at 45–65 Hz.
  • Output: 1V AC maximum output signal with an output ratio of 200A/1V.
  • Output connector: Hypertac connector.
  • Safety rating: CAT III 600V to ground, in compliance with standard IEC/EN61010-1.
  • Usage: It is designed for use with instruments such as network analyzers for photovoltaic systems, multimeters, or data loggers.
