Description

The HT Instruments COMBI521 is a new multifunction electrical installation and insulation tester for verifying the safety of domestic, industrial, and electric vehicle charging systems. It is a versatile device that combines multiple testing functionalities into a single unit.

Key Features
  • Automatic test sequence: The "AUTO" function automatically performs an entire test sequence for overall earth resistance, RCD tripping time, and insulation resistance after you set the RCD current value.
  • Compliance indication: After running the automatic test, the device gives a simple "OK" or "NOT OK" symbol to show compliance with international safety standards.
  • Insulation resistance testing: The COMBI521 can perform insulation resistance tests at 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V. It also includes measurements for Dielectric Absorption Ratio (D.A.R.) and Polarization Index (P.I.).
  • Electrical vehicle charging station (EVSE) testing: With the optional EV-Test 100 adapter, the COMBI521 can perform safety tests on electric vehicle charging stations, simulating the charging process to verify functionality and safety.
  • Data logging and connectivity: It features an internal memory for saving up to 999 test results and includes both optical/USB and Wi-Fi connections. The HTAnalysis App for iOS and Android allows for transferring, customizing, and sharing data.
  • Power quality analysis: The instrument can measure electrical parameters on single-phase systems, including voltage, current, power factor, power, and harmonics.
  • Additional measurements: Other capabilities include continuity of protective conductors, line/fault impedance, RCD tripping time and current, phase sequence, and leakage current (with an optional clamp).
